I certainly hope Terza steps up the plate!
------------------------------------------------------
Hello (Terza Rep)
Please
see the latest correspondence below from our builder Metric Homes as to the
request from Michael Hetts for further detail on the proposed
installation. You were copied on his email to Westboro – and it is
attached for your reference.
Westboro
has now refused to respond further.
I reiterate that we are not happy with:
·
The seams throughout our home noticed on our Pre-delivery
inspection - still not repaired
·
How long it took for the defective carpet to be “diagnosed” (from
January 2014 to August 2014)- 8 months
·
How long it has taken for Westboro to suggest a solution
(August 2014 to October 14) – 2 months
·
Westboro’s proposed solution (for the defective piece and no
solution for the seams)
Questions still unanswered:
·
If the seams are installed properly, what is causing their
visibility – especially without natural light
·
Why are they replacing the carpet in the entire room for 1 piece
of defective carpet
·
Why are they laying the carpet contrary to what is considered to
be the industry standard
We are requesting:
·
Copy of the report regarding the defective carpet – with confirmed
diagnosis by Terza
·
A Terza representative to inspect the carpet and seams to provide
an acceptable answer about why the seams are so visible.
In
short, Westboro Flooring and Decor is of the opinion that the installation is
proper and seams are acceptable – which in my opinion places the blame solely
on the carpet itself. They are insinuating then that this carpet cannot
be properly seamed. Surely you cannot accept that?
I
have reported Westboro Flooring and décor to the Better Business Bureau http://ottawa.app.bbb.org/complaint/view/2087357/c/r42644
as well as to
the Carpet and Rug Institute and the Consumers Council http://www.consumerscouncil.com
I
am looking to you at this time to fix this issue once and for all. We
are no longer interested in dealing with Westboro Flooring.
